Street Art Today

      Art has changed greatly. Artists have more things to work with, which allows them to create outstanding pieces. Art comes in many forms, and that's where a person's true creativity is shown. Street artists have made in impact in todays world of art. Above is a piece of street art by  Banksy  created in 2002 located in London. Banksy is a well-known and is interestingly a pseudonymous street artist. The color in this piece is unique because the only color shown is in the red ballon that is floating away from the little girl. The contract is very well done in the little girl. The depth is shown by the way Banksy used his gift of shading. From my viewpoint, this piece of art shows the little girl letting go of her childhood. But of course, "There is always hope." Above is a piece of art created by Banks y called Napalm located in the Stowe Gallery. There appears to be Ronald McDonald and Mickey Mouse skipping with a girl that seems to be in distress.   Above is a painting by Mitchell Siporin called  Back of the Yards created in 1938. You can see how the faces look quite unusual, and I think that makes them stand out. Their facial expressions look tired and sad. The contrast in this piece of art is beautiful, it adds so much depth in everything. There are both curved and straight lines presented. I believe the family of three pop out the most in this art because they are in the center. Apparently the family are homeless during the great depression. This painting gives off sad vibes because of the cool colors and the looks on their faces.  This is a painting called  Waterfront Scene  by Pino Janni created in 1934. You can see two men at a dock; During the great depression people were in desperate need of jobs, no matter how little they got paid. This painting seems so sad because of the dark colors.
