Hudson River School           This painting called  The Oxbow   was created by Thomas Cole (The founder of The Hudson River School) in 1836. You can see that he created a diagonal line from the top left to the bottom right. There appears to be a thunder storm on the left side of the painting, causing a dark and gloomy vibe. If you look closely, you can see that there is a broken tree stump which shows how powerful nature can be. The left side of this painting looks untouched by man-kind, unlike the right side. You can see that humans have been on the right side of this painting because of the grazed grass, smoke, and more. Both warm and cool colors are presented in this painting by Cole. You can also see the sharped lines, mainly on the left side. There appears to be a darker contrast on the left side.     The painting called  The Iceberg  was created in 1857 by the central figure in the Hudson River School, Frederick Edwin Chu...

Above is a painting created by Jean-HonorĂ© Fragonard which is called The Swing created in 1767, this painting is an example of the Rococo style. The young man on the bottom left of this painting was a part of the french royal court, and he asked Fragonard to create this painting of him and his partner; The man in the bottom left corner was a bishop, and he is pushing the lady. The young man was apparently hiding in the bushes so he can look up his lovers dress. This painting gives off playful and erotic vibes. This painting was actually a bit too "naughty" to be displayed in the public. There is a lot of flow in this painting. The Swing was disliked by the middle class because it is a Rococo style painting.      Cornelia, Mother of the Gracci,  painted by Angelica Kauffmann in 1785. The middle class wanted paintings that had meaningful messages to them, and this creation by Kuffmann is a great example of the middle classes' desires. The women on ...

He is holding a flag and orb with his left hand. He has a crown of flowers which has a halo above it. A mantle is on his back, and his body appears to be covered in a thin lace. Italian Renaissance

One of the most famous and well-known artists is Michelangelo. He was also one of the main people to be considered a " master of the Italian Renaissance ." His work greatly influenced many other artist. He presented meaningful, realistic statues which made it standout from other artists.         This is a sculpture of Moses, which was created by Michelangelo. He created this with great depth and texture. Moses gives off a lot of energy and movement; He appears to be running his beard through his fingers, and it looks " as though he is about to rise ." He appears to be looking off in a distance with a fierce facial expression, while holding on to the table of the ten commandments.     The sculpture is located in a Roman Catholic titular church in Rome, Italy. It would be cool if I were to ever see this sculpture in-person.  Harris, B. Michelangelo, Moses. Smart History.  https://smarthistory.org/michelangelo-moses/ St...
